The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #178 Xochitl Torres Small, of New Mexico, to be Deputy Secretary of Agriculture, post-cloture. At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Torres Small nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #56 Rosemarie Hidalgo, of the District of Columbia, to be Director of the Violence Against Women Office, Department of Justice.
