Rep Jamie Raskin turned the tables on Speaker McCarthy's efforts to overturn a new law put into effect by the District of Columbia, by highlighting McCarthy's own district as having one of the highest crime rates in America. Instead of focusing on issues that help the country, House Republicans are holding a hearing today to overturn two District of Columbia's measures, one to overhaul their century-old criminal code. Rep, McCarthy joined his party in denouncing crime in DC, so Rep. Raskin targeted his own district.
