A town hall meeting in Jacksonville is being organized for late April by state Rep. Randy Frese to better acquaint himself with those in his new district. The town hall is scheduled for 6 p.m. April 24 at the Jacksonville Community Park Center. Frese, R-Paloma, said he wants to use the town hall as an opportunity to talk about legislation important to Morgan County residents. Redistricting, based on the 2020 Census, rearranged legislative districts across Illinois and it had a big effect on those representing Morgan County in the General Assembly.
