Downtown Columbia's emerging Merriweather District will soon add two new businesses to its slate of food and beverage offerings, GameOn Bar + Arcade and The Angry Jerk, a Caribbean-Southern fusion restaurant. The concepts will open later this year in Juniper, a mixed-use building that opened in 2020 with 382 apartment units and 57,000 square feet of ground-level retail space across from the district's central Color Burst Park. GameOn's Columbia location will be the third for the Annapolis-based arcade bar, which also has spots in Annapolis and Federal Hill.
